Anti-Oppressive Gerontological Social Work (AOGSW) Symposium
A 3-day event dedicated to advancing critical conversations on anti-oppressive social work with older adults, their families and communities and building a community of practice.

The goal is to bring together researchers, educators, practitioners, students and older adults committed to anti-oppressive and inclusive approaches in aging-related social work.
This symposium will provide a unique opportunity to engage in intergenerational sharing of information and recently completed research and increase capacity for social workers to respond to the aging and diversification of the Canadian population. We welcome established and emerging scholars to participate in this enriching exchange of knowledge and collaboration.
